do yall know what the limits in a lot of casinos are??
i mean like if the minimum is $5 then would they usually try to stop card counting by making the maximum you can bet like $25, or do they usually make it higher, like $5 to $75 or $100?????

depends where u play, limits at my local casino are 5min , 199max. But then tables in that same pit that are 10,15,or even 25 min still have a 199max.
Tables at highstakes range from 25min-500max, 50min-500max, 100min-1000max and so on

usually they'll give u a spread of 10, but depends where you go.

I guess it depends where you play. Most casinos in Vegas and AC allow 100X minimum bets,so its 5-500,10-1,000,ect,ect.

The only place I've seen where limits seemed possibly constraining were some low-roller joints in Reno. $100 maxes, or in one place that I didn't go to personally, $50 max.

Most of where I've ever played have the 1-100x formula for min/max bets like Shadrock said. But hell, I've only played at $5, $10, and $15 tables...so who knows about $25 tables and up.

good luck

Why would your casino have a table max of $199 and not $200? That seems very odd!

Minnesota law requires more pit supervisors per # of tables on games with 200 and up limits. I do not remember the exact number of tables per pit boss but an example would be something like one pit boss for every 5 tables in the main pit and one pit boss for every 2 tables in the high limit pit. All I remeber is there are a lot more PB's in the high limit pits. Of course this leads to higher operating costs for the casino so they choose to keep most of the games capped at 199.

Then obviously there is a whole lot about the BJ world you have never seen. Perhaps you should read more and post less until you know more.

AC limits:

No more $5 game since the Sands closed a year ago. All Red Chip games ($10 or $15) are $500 max.

Green Chip games ($25 or $50) are at least $1,000 max. but Caesar's and a couple others are $2,000 or more.

Black Chip games are six Grand.
