very nervous...im a nervous person around large crowd's of people anyway,i've only been in a casino 3-4 time's and i thought i was gonna have a stroke i was so nervous the 1st time i went..lol.
any pointer's for my first trip counting?
how to stay calm or what to do if i get caught! should i just run like hell or go with them...not saying it's goin to happen but whatever,also has anyone ever got took to ''the back'' and got the **** kicked out of them?if so can you even hit back or what?

just flood me with all your wisdom you can,thanks.

I pray for the day i get taken to a back room and they beat me. That is the biggest +EV move for a counter! They wont take you out back its very illegal. But if you feel like you should run like hell i do not discourage it. I think the pit and dealers would laugh so hard they would want you to come back forever. Either that or they will tackle you to the ground assuming you did something illegal.


Anyway I do not think its a good idea for you to go. You dont know enough about counting at all. Study for a month at least and then go at it. Its still not really enough time but you can get your feet wet.

Can you count a deck down 100% right in less than 30 seconds?
Can you do it with the TV blaring Boobies in your face?
Can you do it with Boobies, and loud music playing?
Can you do it with Boobies, music and your wife telling you off for looking at the Boobies?

Rounder, if casinos make you that nervous, maybe you shouldn't go to them. Ever.

Barring that, since you don't sound ready, my only advice if you DO go would be to not place a bet. At all. Just observe tables and focus on seperate practices. Basic strategy, dealer procedures, backcounting, etc.

well it has been about a month since i started and i can easily get a deck dealt and counted in under 30 second's accurate with tv and girlfriend and kid screaming. also in pair's and just started doing it in set's of 3,i dont really know if that will help i just wanted to try it out and i was just making sure about the tc thing,the only thing i havnt done is counting the deck's left BUT it's going to be a 2 deck game so i really dont think ill have to much trouble with it.


since we all like making money you all should bet on if i will gain or lose money.lol. i'll let you know what happen's in probly under 2 week's:grin:

Regardless of the skills you do or don't have, it sounds like your attitude is all wrong.

Many 'victims' are attacked because they expect to be attacked and they act like a victim/prey.

It's the same principle here.
Instead, you need to be able to look and act like a ploppy.
Just some dumb tourist out to lose money and have a good time.

First time I tried counting I didn't do too bad, you need to go when the casinos are slow....I try to go in the mornings on week days, I tired it on a Saturday night and it was too noisy and pack

when you say count down the deck less than 30 seconds...can you count by 2 cards? or you suppose to do it 1 by 1?

I still get nervous before playing blackjack. It is called stage fright and that is good. Once you get on the horse and play you will notice that the energy is channeled to your game. My hands still sweat when I first play. Don't listen to the negative responses here. The casinos won't beat you up. You might get intimidating looks from the pit. Just smile at them. They are just sizing you up. You'll be just fine rounder 13.

I would have to disagree with your response. Nothing against rounder but he does not fully understand the TC yet. That means he has a long way to go. The other problem is that he is not only afraid of playing blackjack but nearly had a stroke from just the crowd of people. Thats a pretty big problem. For a beginner any distraction is devistating.

Its true like i said before the casino will not beat you up (but really hope for it) so dont be afraid of that at all. If your playing low limit tables they probably wont even look twice at you, really they dont care.

Id suggest you stay home and practice for a while or get into bonus whoring. If you look in this thread my last response can tell you about bonus whoring.

I'll stick with my suggestion to rounder13. "Bonus whoring" has nothing to do with rounder13 concerns. He can watch my video on "card counting at 6 deck" on true counts. Its true that bonus whoring has nothing to do with his concers but what concers me as well as other players is that he cant be in a casino without feeling like hes having a stroke. On top of that he seems very confused about things and should take it slow. Bonus whoring will allow him to stay at home play blackjack and make some money at the same time.

Another thing is you recomend the 10 count which is very weak very weak. I didnt watch enough to see your video on the true count but its not a hard concept to understand and if hes still having problems I would recomend asking more questions or researching instead of watching a video with "mistakes"

My Ten Count(JSTATII) is as good as Hi-OptII. My next video will explain why. It will be mistake free. It will all be business and we will take as many shoots as possible to produce a quality video. JSTATII side counts the aces, eights, and nines, like Hi-OptII. JSTATII takes advantage of asymmetry situations from the side counts. Combinational analysis with subsets and a calculator was needed to confirm its power. Blackjack computer simulation is insufficient. My You Tube and My Space page has created an "underground railroad" of interested JSTATII counters. I have given them the important information that is not in the videos. My blog on My Space is created to help anyone with questions They are reluctant to post here and other blackjack venues in fear of being flamed. You would be surprised at the number of positive emails I have received. If the casino executives and book sellers who read this board believe that JSTATII is "very weak very weak", my viewers will dominate. I got away with fooling Reno/Lake Tahoe for 6 years in the 90's because of the difference of my blackjack count from hi-lo and other counts. IN arguement youtbe and myspace videos also are full of martingale progression systems that are fully supporded by its viewers. The people on those sites sadly do not know what they are in for. They will believe anything about gambling that seems logical and like it may work.

In your video +1 is a great count where you are favored 20:1 for a blackjack? You start off a new shoe betting 4 units? (im using 50 as a unit)
Then your count gets all the way up to +4 with no aces with about half a deck remaining and you lower your bet to 2 units?


OK so im not even going into how weak the count is but how do you propose a betting strategy? I saw none what so ever. What point do you take insurance? I heard a lot of mumbling about +3,+6 and whatever but there was no clarification. Are there any indexes?

In the second video you jump in and out of the shoe like its nothing. You just say youll sit there and watch one hand. Then the count gets + again and you get back in the next hand and then out once more. Good luck with that in a casino.

Idk this was just a quick look at the video. Ill watch them when I get back later tonight.

Arnold Snyder told me that my blackjack count is valid. Dog Hand and prizecar of Stanford Wong's BJ21 said that my count is valid. What's the matter with this group?
