Where is the community headed? Weigh in here.

I know it won't be green chip for me. I hate the layout.

I sometimes go to (Dead link: http://www.blackjackapprentice.com). But since most activity is (was) here, this was my primary lurking ground. Guess I'll be at BJA. Same username over there.

http://www.blackjackapprenticeship.com, its a great site, I learned all i know from the guys there.

I suggest using QFIT's forums at

http://www.qfit.com/blackjackforum/index.php

It uses the same software (vBulletin) which is much better than the one used at other blackjack forums.

Would it be beneficial to make a poll? Or would there be too many options?

Hey everyone. Ken, I understand the difficult decision you made. If it weren't for our amazing moderators, I would have given up on the blackjackapprenticeship forum a long time ago.

I wanted to also let people know that they are welcome at the BJA forum. We're making some changes currently to make them better, but I understand that they are only as valuable as the people in them.

I suggest Two Plus Two Poker Forums where a "Other Gambling Games Forum" exists. GBV, JSTAT, Automatic Monkey, and others from Blackjackinfo.com have posted there. 2+2 averages 3,000 views online at a time and all sorts of topics are discussed. It is the place to go to enrich your poker game along with your blackjack experience.

Thanks Ken for this brilliant forum, I'm relatively new here but I've learnt so much , i'm very sad to see the forum close, although I respect the reasons and am grateful for such a successful forum. Few other sites have I been able to get quality answers for some of my questions. I just hope that we as a community stick together and the majority of us migrate together to another good site as there are so many good people on this site.

It would also be brilliant if you would consider handing the position to someone else, or even bring in a membership fee then not only would you receive income from the site but it would also pull the plug on a lot of the spamming.

Whatever happens though there's no denying the support that this site has provided for blackjack players throughout the world, and I am grateful to have been a part of it.
