What do you guys think of the Fitzgerald Game in reno? First the good you can double on any two cards, you can surrender, you can split any pair, blackjack pays 3 to 2. No the bad part the penetration there is just plain horrible playing only 5 spots made the dealer shuffle after every round. In every casino I have been to you could play 6 spots on a 1 deck game and get at least 2 rounds per shuffle. If 4 spots where played than the dealer will deal 2 rounds. If you play head up you could get about 4 rounds. They all seamed too deal out about 20 cards of the 52 card deck. Dealers there go for there own tips so maybe you could bribe them to deal more cards. As a dealer I usually deal an average of 40 cards on my single deck game and I always deal a minimum of two rounds before the shuffle.

Well, if talking about one vs two rounds to a full table is really more of a theoretical discussion. that's no way to make money if you're counting cards.

But if you're only getting four rounds with one spot... that would be rule of five, right? And that would be sort of lame.

Four rounds x 1 player=Ro4.

That's RO5, it's rounds + players.

I had the same experience at the Fitz, good rules, no heat, but RO5 pen so not really playable. I thought it might have been just because they knew me, but apparently it's universal.

But I got RO7 two doors down.

The Rules

The rules are good enough that getting 2 rounds can yield you an advantage. You are only at a .15% disadvantage on the first round meaning you will lose 15 cents for every $100 bet. Second round you could be at a 3% advantage or disadvantage. I don't know about no heat though.
