4deck using KO questions

I'm usually playing 6d H17 DAS DOA 5min 199max.

I see a table that is 4d H17 DAS DOA 15min 199max.
I assume the only strategy change would be having a larger buy in and the IRC, Key point, and pivot point are going to be altered.

Can someone please tell me what they would be changed to in 4d, and how much better (IF ANY) the game will be since there are only 4 decks.

My guess is IRC = -12 and Pivot = 4 as always, but what is the key count?

The key count is 11 higher than your IRC and your pivot point is 16 higher than your IRC. Insurance would be one less than the pivot point like usual.

4 decks -.56
6 decks -.62

Both are lousy games play the one with the better pen!
He definitely did not give enough information to decide if they are good games or not. I have sure seen some amazing 4-deck games! Just knowing that there are 4 decks is not enough to say that it is a bad game. Even a 4 deck game with bad penetration can still be excellent. You really need to know a lot more before making any conclusions about it.

That's true. I was looking at it from the point of a -.56 house edge. That is not good for a basic strategy player. It certainly could be a good game for a counter with good pen.
p8nt do you know the pens for these games I will run a sim to see what you can make on it?

for 6 deck i'd say they cut out 3/4 of a deck on average

not positive for 4 deck, but i'd say close to the same, either 3/4 or 1 deck

This casino has pretty nice pen, depending on the dealer

If they only cut 3/4 deck off at the 6 deck game that is 87.5% penetration which is an excellent game!

If they cut off 1 deck in the 4 deck game then that is only 75%, which is nothing special, but playable. If they cut off 3/4 then the penetration is 81.25% which is very good penetration.

I dont have any simulation software, but if I had to choose between the 6 deck game with 3/4 deck cutoff or the 4 deck game with 3/4 cutoff, I would take the 6 deck game since the penetration is larger as a percentage on the 6 deck game. 3/4 of a deck being cutoff in a 6 deck game is reall really good. Normally they cut off at least 1 deck, and the norm is 1.5 decks. Even a 6 deck game with 1 deck cut out of play is really good.

3/4 cut out of either game is amazing pen. The 4 deck with a 1-10 spread and the $15 minimum you can make $20/hr. The 6 deck with a 1-20 spread on the $5 minimum table you can make $11.50/hr.
