I'm going to wait until there is some kind of gay rights convention in town, then go play aggressively in drag, and see if they have the guts to back me off.

Something strapless, to accentuate my deltoids and back hair. Think it might clear out a table? Probably a good way to do an 8D backcounting attack; let the civilians eat the low cards at a full table then play the rest heads-up after they flee.

1) Don't forget the pink bow.
2) During a gay rights convention you may be attracting MORE players at a table.

Kicked to the curb in Vegas

Just how easy is it to get 86ed in Vegas? I've read many of the stories about it but do they go whacko on you at the drop of a hat? Just how far can you go before you start to irritate them? Will they start spazzing on you as soon as you pump up the betting and start winning consistently in some places?

I read all of the scare stories prior to my last trip out there 2 years ago so I was trying to be careful and bounce around a lot, making my best attempt to not be noticeable. I did okay and made money and no one seemed to even bat an eyelash about it. Just how touchy ARE they?

I have been tossed and I have been backed off, but it really does not happen that often and if it happens to you often then there is something wrong.
Some casinos will sweat a $5 player who spreads to $25 and other casinos will let a $10 player who spreads to $100 camp out. Knowing what kind of place and what kind of money is common there is very important.

Some players can play at places on and off for years and never get heat, other players seem to where a neon sign that says "counter".

Backoffs happen and barrings happen but the stories of them found in blackjack books tend to give new players a serious case of paranoia, but the more you know about your casino, the easier it is to avoid this.

Ok,

Thanks for giving me this email. I am going to set up a good email and see what happens. I also got problems with fritz downtown vegas. Standing in the casino watching a game was enough for them to come to me and say we do not want your business. A guard was looking to me, so I walked to him to ask him why he looked to me because that made me feel so uncomfortable.

Than the entire crue came and told me to leave. He also stated that he did not give a **** about my father being a diplomat....LOL I felt harrashed and they almost drove me out of the casino. I did not even play. Who is manipulating here? I felt really they would hit me any moment.

What a trash!!!:whip:

Seriously, what are you doing to get kicked out of all these places?! I mean, asking a security guard “What are you looking at?” is not a great way to make friends, but you must be doing something else too. Either your playing is way too obvious or someone doesn’t like your personality. Or maybe you’re waving a knife around. I really don’t know what it is that you’re doing, but I’ve never heard of someone having that much trouble in a casino (unless their last name was Grosjean). Do you have any idea why people are kicking you out and trespassing you? There must be more to this story.

Between disguising himself or finding another way to just be kind of invisible, I think Grosjean gets kicked out of a smaller percentage of casinos than The Stork based upon his short history here. I am also guessing that one of the first things he tells these security types is about his father's diplomatic status and it just does seem to be impressive to them.

Many of these "rent a cop" security types are not bright at all and probably are hoping for a confrontation, don't help them out.

Also, just like Sonny, I have no idea why you appear to get this much attention. Someone who just stands and watches a game for a long time though will draw security attention sometimes. They suspect you perhaps of spotting for a team, looking to grab chips from a player and run, waiting around to try to hit some player up for a handout or something similar.
If I am watching a game (backcounting, looking for an opportunity to wong in) and some security guy is eyeballing me closely, just look like a player who was thinking about playing. You can take some cash out of your pocket but then you see the dealer win the next hand, shake your head, put the cash back and move on. Or, you (without ever looking back at the rent a cop) could move over to other tables or a different part of the casino and figure out if they are following you.
In my case, if I think they have followed me, then I believe they know I am an AP and I just leave.

In Las Vegas

you will be asked to leave and reminded that you have been told not to trespass. If you go when given the chance you are fine. If you screw with them, you will be meeting Metro under less than the best of circumstances. I've heard is is a $50 fine and they let you go. I'm not an attorney. Although I would consult one if I were going to intentionally break a law, such as trespassing.

Welcome to the world of casino blackjack and private property. In the Unites States, we have the right to ask anyone to leave our home or business that we want, aside from excluded classes. If I came to your house and began eating and drinking all of your supplies, you have the right to order me go leave and not come back. If a business doesn't want you using up their resources, they have a right to ask you to leave.

You may choose to try to change the laws or get T.H. to take you back, but all you will do in the end is make yourself so memorable that you will NEVER be forgotten. Piss them off and they will flyer you are send your pic to Griffin, harrah's database and Biometrica. They have a lot of power, even after the fact.

If you must act out in some say, the best way to do this is if/when they send you a mailer aka an invitation. Then you have been invited back!

Don't start a pissing contest with T.H. There is no upside other than emotional, and that will turn on you too. You might likely cause yourself more grief. Deal with the reality of the situation, not the situation.

Something else to keep in mind is T.H. owns a few hotels in Vegas and in Reno. The places in Reno have decent games

Well?

I have issues with being so tall I guess. It must be my european look? I think I am going to buy a wheelchair and from now on I am the invalid blackjackplayer. Or maybe it is just tough for me to be normal because that feels like death to me!! But seriously I am trying to be so invisable as I can be.

Yes, I believe I saw you once a couple of years ago at an infamously low-class Downtown store and you stood out even more than I do. As Yogi Berra says: "Don't try to do what you can't do" and work on an act where you do draw attention to yourself instead of one where you try to be invisible.

Maybe it's that sign around your neck:
"I have diplomatic immunity and you can't touch me"

i'd say something here Mr. Stork but i'm afraid it might make your situation worse. or at least it would be something that shouldn't be said so as to keep from outing you. so well think about it and maybe you'll figure it out or send me a private message if you want i'll tell you what it may be. but really what i'm thinking it is should be apparent to you.
