BJINFO's Zen Zone is the 3rd-busiest forum - it has the most threads and the 3rd most posts of the forums here.

Notwithstanding the above, Zen Zone is not getting enough page views to fully qualify as the outstanding Internet discussion board that it represents - one of the best reading rooms on the Web.

As a significant contributor to BJ theory and practice at BJINFO, I have a simple request of all participants here - please occaisionally visit the Zen Zone and read an article or two. And feel free to comment accordingly.

Thank you in advance for your future visits! zg

Zen Zone averages less than 2 posts per thread.Over half the threads have only the original post that started the thread.
Perhaps, just perhaps, some people enter a blackjack web site with the intention of reading about BJ.
Last nite,as an example,I logged on to see 15plus new threads. Each was in the ZZ and none of them had as much as a single response.
Maybe you should try going for quality, instead of quantity.
While I agree with much that you put in the ZZ,perhaps its not the right place for it.

Granted that a BJ site is an usual place for a "Zen Zone", but not without precedent - the twoplustwo.com poker site has a similar and quite robust forum.

Good and unusual information is where you find it. The most important non-BJ info at this site is at the ZEN ZONE! zg

I'm certainly not saying its an inappropriate site, just that many readers may not have any interest in it.
I also think that a few threads would be better recieved than the myriad of threads posted on a daily basis.Constructive criticism, such as it is.

ZZ doesn't need fewer posts - it needs MORE READERS!! BTW, a noticeable trickle of readers actually come in through nonBJ search. zg

I think if people are interested then they will post. Like Shadroc said it is a blackjack forum. I do take a look on a regular basis but sometimes there is just not enough time in the day to read it all as you do present a lot of information. I usually skim through it to see what will interest me. I often wonder where you get all the info? What motivates you to post it? Are you searching the internet all day for this stuff? I have learned some cool things in the Zen Zone now anytime I stay in a hotel room I have to put my fingernail against the mirrors!

I also read through the Zen Zone, sometimes more than the BJ articles because I haven't sat down and mastered the count yet. (Am I hearing boos?)

ZG- I very often question the validity of your posts, so I ignore many of them. I like conspiracy theories but sometimes enough is enough. But if the initial post was hinting at possibly eliminating the Zen Zone, then I say NAY! This out-of-place column is refreshing. Just because we don't respond to the ten ZG posts per day doesn't mean that we don't care. Without the Zen Zone I would probably check up on any BJ questions that I had and then promptly search for porn (uhh...that's a joke).

And, for some reason, I don't like the posts that aren't by the person who put it onto the site, ie copy and paste from another site.

I understand that, I could search any of those topics and get a crackpot opinion on it.

But still, I read it and enjoy it because crackpottery has its place. A crackpot solution to one problem might be a legitimate solution to another. Almost in the same way that a progression scheme that has no place at a live blackjack table might be a good way to clear a WR for a bonus.

That said, you may want to consider that the real or perceived dispatriotism, disrespect for religion, and insensitivity to members of some groups probably offends many people and turns them off to reading and writing at the Zen Zone.

On the other hand, we do a great service to visitors by alerting them to the very real conspiracies that exist in the areas of medicine/cancer, politics, synthetic-terrorism, the media monopoly, religious mythology masquearading as sprituality to the uninformed, the importance of Jews against zionism, and the benefit to society by legalizing all drugs... among other things. zg

I took a crackpottery class at the local community college. It's a lot easier than making real pottery. :)
