AC comps

Is it just me, or do the comp points accumulate MUCH faster at Borgata as compared with Trump, Total Rewards, etc?

I got a Trump card a few weeks ago. Played there twice at $25 and $50 tables for a few hours. Have $8 in comps! That same amount of time at Borgata would probably give me about $30-40.

Some places take frequency of play into account.See what happens after five or six trips. If they base things on your average for last five trips, you still have a few zeroes in there.
Hopefully you've read Comp City and are practicing at least of few methods of stretching your comps.

I've had the same experience at Borgata. I received $440 in comps for two days play. I was trying to stretch them by always taking out a large amount of chips and ratholing them before "color in" departure. Whether losing has anything to do with size of comps, I don't know. I've heard it both ways. I did bet it up pretty good my last day there. I tried to be seen by PB betting big on both days.

BTW, the Taj will award triple comps on August 16. I plan to be there.

If you buy anything from borgata shops or use it to eat downstairs the comps are 2 to 1. Harrahs is 1 to 1 on food as long as you use your card once every six month points will not expire. Also borgata reward points expire 180 days after getting them if not used. Don't get me wrong borgata is a much nicer casino than any harrahs property but the comp program sucks.

I was back on the Boardwalk yesterday. Asked one of the PCs about the comps at Trump Plaza and she admitted to me they were recently cut and really suck.

They're driving the place into the ground, and it will probably follow Sands. While all the other houses were packed, Trump Plaza had plenty of dealers standing around empty tables

The other houses were packed on a Tuesday? Or was it that they just had huge sections closed soi there were just empty tables, not dealers standing around?

Caesars and Ballys were packed with just a handful of closed tables. Tropicana had large areas closed, but what was open was very crowded (and poor pen and NMS on any $25 and up table.)

It's summer in AC. Pretty crowded all the time now, at least for another week or so. Ballys even raised their parking from $5 to $10 in preparation for Labor Day weekend.
