Advice on which game to play

At my local casino, they offer a two deck game, but the penetration is only 50%. On their shoe games, the offer 67-80% depending on who is dealing. My bankroll really only allows for a $50 max bet at the moment. I use KO Preferred. The shoe game has a better Snyder profit index, but the $5 tables are so crowded that it takes 20-30 minutes to get a seat. I don't think I have the bankroll yet to play the $10 min shoe games. Once you have stopped laughing hysterically at me, should I attempt to play the shoe games with a $5-50 spread and wong out at the KO preferred points and spend a lot of time waiting, or just eat the poor penetration and play the double deck game with atrocious penetration and a $10-50 spread? Does 50% penetration on a double deck game even make it really countable? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Doc, I face these conditions myself almost every time I play. I opt for the shoe game (could not live with 50% pen on double deck). However, instead of Wonging completely off the table, could you step back until the count improves? Bathroom break, smoke break, need to stretch that bad back (knee, shoulder, etc?) Take a phone call. Anything to excuse you for implementation of the KO Exit Strategy?

I have been told that a 1:8 spread can be made to work on a 6-D shoe if you exit at the appropriate negative counts and come back when they improve.

50% penetration on a double deck game is absolutely terrible. You would definitely need to spread more than 1-5 on that game. Although I wouldn't play it at all.

Maybe they know you're counting and are only giving YOU 50% penetration. You should try watch the game before joining and see. If they just normally give 50%, then they are a paranoid casino.

The game is beatable with a 1-5 spread. It is going to be a small adv unless the game has excellent rules. How big is your BR? ROR will be high

Beatable? Yes. Worthwhile? Probably not.

I currently have $1000 dedicated for play, but I can and am contributing another $400 each month regardless of wins or losses at the table, and I'm jumping around the internet doing the bonus hustling dance adding my winnings there to my BR, so I'm playing as though I have a $5000 fixed BR.

It is going to be a small adv unless the game has excellent rules.
2 decks, 50% penetration, DAS, S17, split three times, no resplitting or drawing to split aces, no surrender, BJ pays 3:2.

I'll start doing this more often. I had been just getting up and going to another table, which took 20-30 minutes with the waiting for a seat to open.

does that casino allow back line betting. if so when the tables are crowded it's a great way to get away with back counting.

best regards,

With those rules with a $5000 BR your ROR will be 17%. Your average per hour would be $12.83.

You can use the 10-50 spread and have more like a 22+ EV/100 hands if you step back from the table when the count tanks. zg
