Always split aces?

I thought you always split aces, but I basic strategy for these rules:

6 decks
Double 9, 10, 11
S17
DAS
No surrender
No peek

says to hit with AA, against an A upcard... is this correct?

It's the last one that makes it so you don't split aces. If the dealer has a blackjack you will lose 2 bets.

If it is lose original bet only you're ok and can treat the same as dealer peek.

Don't know if there is anywhere that would give blackjack when splitting aces or 10s? I imagine that would change the odds a lot.

Ya, my casino gives blackjack for splitting 10s and drawing an ace
Really? I think you should split the aces against an ace, in that situation.
