An analysis of wonging?

Where could I find (either interweb or book) a good analysis of how wonging can actually affect one's blacjkack game. EV, general flux, earnings per hour, the whole schlmiel?

I've only wonged a little bit, but so far I'm convinced it's the best thing since chunky peanut butter. However, I suspect it's just a mini lucky streak.

Your observation is correct. It will as much as double your win rate.

What it does to your risk and flux depends on how you implement the Wonging. You can backcount, you can stay at one table and just leave for bad counts, or if you play in big stores you can go to another table that is just starting (the last is my favorite). The first two will decrease your RoR and the last one will increase it.

could you explain that a little bit Auto?
i mean as to how the first two decrease your ROR and the last one will increase it? i'm assumming it has to do with increased units on the table...

Exactly. If you are always seeing good counts, you will always have big bets down. And you will lose a lot of those big bets. Sometimes many times in a row!

But if that troubles a counter, he can lower his bet, and have the same win rate as a play-all player with less risk of ruin. Win rate and RoR are almost always tradeoffs. But being you are not playing the negative hands, the total value of the game always goes up. And the biggest benefit of the Wong-around method is the value of your time.
