I'm just wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to browse through one of the old Griffin Books?
What does it look like, how many people are in it, what kind of info do they have on an individual? Is it detailed, are the pictures of any quality, is it just filled with gamblers or does it also cover say individuals who maybe have been involved in a fight in the casino? Have you seen your own profile in it or maybe Zengrifter's?

I'm just asking out of curiosity as I'm currently reading "Beat the Players".

I have seen pages out of the Griffin book. Its not just 1 book its many volumes. As far as the pictures, some entries have none, others have shots that range from unclear to mug shot quality. What each entry does have is the name and any alias the person listed may have, along with any personal characteristics known. Such as age or birthdate and physical description. Along with this there is listed whats labeled as history. This is a brief description of the act that gets you listed. On just one page I have seen people listed as card counters, team counters, slot cheater that inserts device into slot machine, thieves that steal from slot players, purse snatchers, and card switchers. Also listed are any known accomplices and or associates of those listed. Basically from what I've seen they don't separate actual cheater from card counter. They don't differentiate between the two, which paints the counter in a bad light. The pages I saw were of a few years back so there may be some differences in the present volumes. I'm sure its all in a computer database and is readily changeable. The pages I read were just some computer print outs that a friend of mine was able to get his hands on.

As far as who was on there, there were a couple of recognizable names as a couple of my friends were on it, thus the reason for gaining the list, but I doubt anyone here was on the couple of pages I read. At least I hope not.
