Are most casino's marketing departments oblivious to casino operations?

What I mean is this...

I've been shuffled up at a couple of AC houses. One place I haven't played in over 3 months (tried once but was immediately recognized and cut card at 50%), but I have stayed there in many a comped room, and the comp room offers keep coming. So, I accept their hospitality, but play elsewhere.

I don't get it. Is marketing that far behind and once an offer is made it keeps coming?

You got it.
A few years ago,a friend was barred from a AC property for causing a fight. But his offers kept coming. He even called to ask if the offers meant that he was now welcome there.

I keep getting e-mail internet offers, also thru US mail, for casinos that no longer accept US players.

They (real and virtual casinos) really are clueless - for the most part, from what I gather, u could ban urself as a problem gambler and still receive offers. Then show up and play. And win. And then not get paid because ur a problem gambler.
