Atlantic City / two questions

Can anyone out there point me towards a $5.00 table in Atlantic City? I'm somewhat of a rookie at this and realize I need to learn to crawl before walking. My second question is for those in Eastern North Carolina if you are interested I'm renting a four seat plane on the 1-18-03 to take to A/C for the night. If you need a ride drop me a note. I would consider stopping in Eastern VA to pick someone up. PS. . . I'm a better pilot than I am a BJ player (for those that speak aviation, I do have an instrument rating).

Acoording to the latest CBJN and the report below there are very-few $5min tables in AC. Keep in mind that using a $10min and wonging out to a fresh shoe is superior to a $5min play-all game. Are you near Lake Wyle or Charlotte, by chance? zg (ps- many games in the south are better than AC games)

Re: Atlantic City / two questions (Zengrifter)

I'm over towards the Rocky Mount area but fly out of Greenville. When you say games in the south are better are you speaking of MS (Biloxi, Gulfport, Tunica etc.)? Part of the fun for me is the flying. . . my goal is to pay for the plane, hotel, meals etc. and come back with a little bonus in my pocket. So far since I've been doing this I am 2 & 1. Looking back on the one loss, I made some foolish mistakes (sat at full tables, went too deep into my bank roll with a negative count) It looks like I'll be going to Tunica for business in March. Prior to that I'll research their rules. I appreciate the tip on wonging at $10.00 tables and may give it a try. If You have all of the stereotypical traits of a counter should avoid wonging?

Re: Atlantic City $5 tables

Bally's has 6 dedicated $5 BJ tables during weekends and holidays, you have to go to the poker room on the 6th floor. The hours/availability tend to be somewhat limited (all closed at 3am, another time 1/2 the tables were closed at 9pm). I don't think I have seen any $5 tables in their main casino or Wild Wild West theme area, the minimums are usually $10 or $15 there.

Re: Atlantic City / two questions **RESPONSES

**RESPONSES -

I'm over towards the Rocky Mount area but fly out of Greenville.

**My company financed and built the multi-channel microwave (wireless-cable) Tv system for Greenville, now being converted to fixed-wireless broadband.

When you say games in the south are better are you speaking of MS (Biloxi, Gulfport, Tunica etc.)?

**All of the above + Vicksburg and Schreveport

Part of the fun for me is the flying. . . my goal is to pay for the plane, hotel, meals etc. and come back with a little bonus in my pocket.

**Nice work if you can get it. Another counter, Brother Avarissa flys on instruments and mostly palys the south.

I appreciate the tip on wonging at $10.00 tables and may give it a try.

**Most/all AC games restrict mid-entry, so 'wonging-out' combined with playing every other hand or two during neutral decks is the only way to go - exit at TC -2 early in the shoe or -1 mid shoe or 0 late in the shoe.

If You have all of the stereotypical traits of a counter should avoid wonging?

NO, your stakes are too low to cause scrutiny. Use your cell-phone to pretend calls so you can play only 1/2 to 1/3 of the rounds during neutral counts. zg
