As most people have told you its the technique of cutting a card into play, knowing where it is, and then being able to steer it in your hand. Most talk about doing this with an ace, which is great it gives you a huge advantage of about 51%. I say don't stop there. You're more likely to see a 10 than an ace, so don't be afraid to cut those in either. If you land a ten it still gives you a very good 13% advantage. And although its risky if you try to land it as the dealers draw card, you can potentially bust the dealer giving you a 100% advantage. Its a high variance move not for the feint of heart or weak of bankroll, but it has been done, and has worked. And even if the dealer doesn't need to draw a card, at least you know the next card out of the shoe will be a ten and you can bet accordingly. Also if you get real good you can cut a 5 or 6 into play and land it as the dealers hole card. This is a great play because even if the dealer shows a ten you know his hand is weak and you can adjust your basic strategy to get the most out of it. The biggest thing to remember with this type of play is its not easy to master, not everyone can. And even when you do there's alot of variance that goes along with it, so if you can't be consistent don't even try it.jimpenn said:--cutting the exposed back card for advantage.
