Hello, everyone. Can anyone please tell me if this game is beatable? It looks bad.

Game is 2D, double on any two cards, NO double after split, resplit to four hands, no resplit aces, pen is 50%, minimum bet $50.

I would say no, not even knowing the s17 or h 17.
Double after split is really important.

You will need a large spread and avoid the negative counts aggressively. zg

another game with slightly better rule and pen

Thank you for the responses. How about this game? The rules and pen are slightly better than the first game I mentioned.

This 2D game is: double 9, T, 11; H17; DAS; resplit to four hands, no resplit aces, pen is 63%, minimum bet $50, no mid-shoe entry.

If this game is beatable, would a 1-6 spread be enough to beat it? I will be using the BJInfo Open Source UBZ II V0.5, with Mimosine's 2D index nightspirit's 1-6 bet ramp. Thank you.

Sure, the game is beatable. However, with a $50 min bet you will need a large bankroll. I just ran the game thru Blackjack Risk Manager.

Assumptions. 2 Deck, H17, No DAS, Pen 50%, Hi-Low Count, $50,000 Bankroll, Spread 1 to 8 using BJA Chapter 10 bets. You will make $44.00 per hour with a risk of ruin of 8.01%. If the game is S17 you will make $59.00 an hour with a 3.33% risk of ruin.

Only IF you aggressively avoid -EV counts. zg

You mean wong out, zengrifter? It is a no mid-shoe entry, so play all.

Are the rules and pen of the game so bad that it's unplayable? Or do we need a larger spread than 1-6 to beat it? Thanks.

I don't want to come off as a prick but it sounds like you just really want some action. Go ahead and play it, i mean, the NO on that game is probably soo high you will never see the long run anyways...

No, I don't want to play just for action. I would like to play knowing I have an advantage. Hence, I would like to make sure if this particular game is beatable (+ev).

Use 1-10 and wong-out as frequently as heavenly possible. If you cannot jump back in, then you should withdraw always at -2 TC (HiLow).
Use a cellphone ruse and act discusted that your naggy wife keeps calling and calling. Yell at her and show the pit how angry. Make the pit keep reminding you to stop playing and back away from the table when you answer the phone. zg

Sorry, but Blackjack Risk Manager has no data for this game. If I were to make an educated guess, I would think it would be better than the other game you listed because of the better pen. Good pen is really important and most of you gain from doubling comes from the 9, 10, 11.

The closet game in BJRM is the following.
Assumptions. 2 Deck, H17, D10, No DAS, Pen 75%, Hi-Low Count, $50,000 Bankroll, Spread 1 to 8 using BJA Chapter 10 bets. You will make $144.50 per hour with a risk of ruin of 0.58%, but this game has exceptionaly good pen.
