Bad feeling about TM & BPP's shuffling machines

Has anyone had any good experiences here? I've been there twice and both times were a disaster. I swear the AMS they use clump all the low cards together and/ or they pull out a lot of the high cards. Lost 30 units in about 2 hours last night. Talked to others both times I went and no one seemed to be winning anything.

They use an optical reader at Firekeepers in the ASM that pushes all the 10 value and aces to the back of the pack. Therefore you must cut the back to the front to get a huge pos. situation right off the top.:gaga:

Guys, I get a very bad feeling about TM & BPP's shuffling machines. 21Gun & CP's posts have intensified my suspicion about the machines used by Trump Marina (TM) and Bally's Park Place (BPP). Both TM and BPP have the highest HOLD PERCENTAGES: 14.8% & 14.7% (see below and the attached Excel file for details). TM & BPP seem to be "harder" to squeeze out a few bucks. What are your 2 cents about their shuffling machines?

If anything it confirms my belief that the worst players play there. Notice both casinos are H17 8 decks for the most part.

Hold percentage is an almost meaningless statistic from the perspective of an AP. The most relevant variables are not the edge of the game nor the skill of the players, but how many hands they can get per player and ratio of buy-in to bet. We shouldn't be interested in hold at all.

All of the harrahs owned properties feature the lucky ladies side bet on the vast majority of their 8 deck h17 tables. Since the bet has a larger house edge than the game itself, it makes thew tables more profitable dollar for dollar.

Additionally, harrahs owned properties also feature many single deck 6:5 No DAS, h17 games featuring a cut card, they are still considered bj tables and are recorded as such for the purposes of those statements.

In fact all of the casinos featuring higher numbers on that list also feature side bets on the majority of their tables, maybe the slower casinos will catch on eventually.
