Base Reward Credit question

Does anyone here who plays VP at Caesars or one of the Harrah's properties know how many Base Reward Credits you earn per hand of VP per .25 wagered?

Under the current system, I believe it's $6 in slots or $12 in VP, up from $5 and $10 under the old system. Then you get bonus points, but not on full pay machines.

So to clarify, you have to wager $12 in 9/6 JOB to earn 1 Base Reward Credit? I always get confused because I'm not sure if 1 BRC = $1 in comp dollars or if it's 100 BRC that =$1 in comp dollars?

100 Reward Credits (whether base or bonus) is $1.00 in comps.
Without multipliers or bonus credits, that's a very low comp rate of 0.1% at the old $10=1pt rate. I haven't seen any Harrahs properties that have changed the rate. Is this new $12 rate in Atlantic City a recent change?

I have not played at a Harrahs lately, I am going on the information posted at another site.
For slot players, you'll earn more bonus points than base points but each of them is 100 =$1. A typical slot session might result in 200 base points and 500 bonus points while a session on a full pay VP machine might look like 200 base points and 5 bonus points.
While the comp payback schedule intially appears weak, it is augmented by Reel Reward coupons and multipler days. Throw in the free room offers and Harrahs has a pretty good players club. The best part being that play in AC can be used for freebies in Vegas, or any other Harrahs worldwide.

Thanks Shad and Ken. I'm very familiar with the total rewards system and its benefits. I'm just trying to determine if an offer I have is + EV or not.
