Basic Strategy Question

If your first two cards are a total that require a hit, and you still end up with a total like hard 16 and have 3 cards, do you still just hit untill you get a made hand?

In general, yes.

In the specific case of 16 versus 10, and only in thise case, if you hit 16 via multiple cards, it's better to stand. Unless one of those cards is a 6, in which case you should hit, unless two cards are 5s and one is a 6, in which case you should stand.

It's that close of a call.

Also, it makes an almost unmeasurable difference in your long term results.

It depends on what card the dealer is showing.

I was just trying to figure out the more than 2 card total part of the chart because they only show you 2 card totals so I wonderd if the strategy shifted for multiple cards but I think I see the answer and that's the way I was doing it anyway. Thanks.
