Been staying at a group of casinos in the south the past few weeks...

Alright so I have been playing in the south for the past fewof weeks playing double deck games all s17 das, no rsa however 1 was rsa. On average about 1 deck a day. Staying in rooms from coupons sent to me and my nephew and coupons out of The American casino guide. Without these coupons it would have been a negative e.v. trip, blackjack wise. Here are the results...

Days
1. 7 hands Unit considered $15 spreading 1-6. Total profit $82.50
2. 1 1/2 decks still $15 base spreading 1-6. Total profit $52.50.
3. 6 hands. Won all $150 profit after $12.50 tip. And High tc's that pulleed only 3 tens in the round.
4. $30 profit
5. $75 profit
6. -$20
7. -$40
8. $30 profit
9. $120 profit
10. DID NOT PLAY
11. $20 TOURNAMENT BUY IN 7TH PLACE FINISH $100. AND LOST $25 AT THE TABLES.
12. DID NOT PLAY
13. -$45
14. ONLY DAY WITH MORE THAN 3 DECKS PLAYED PROFIT $244.
15. -$45 2 DECKS
16. -$35 3 DECKS
17. +$35 3 DECKS PLAYED
18. +75 3 DECKS PLAYED
19. DID NOT PLAY -$65 FOR GAS.

$534 profit for less than 6 hours of play.

$2500 made at my main job contracting.

A little more than a 2 unit profit a day. like pennies more

Oh almost forgot I won $52 in the money grab at the fitz so really over $600 profit before I payed for my gas. :)

And about 35 VERY MEMORABLE NIGHTS with the old lady that would not have happened that would have never happened at the house because her parents are living with us for a while and for some reason she WILL NOT f**k with her parents in the house.

ONLY HAD TO PAY FOR 1 MEAL.
SAVED $275 ON BREAKFAST FOR 2 THANKS TO THE NUMEROUS COUPONS THEY SO GRACIOUSLY MAILED ME.
SAVED $430 ON DINNER FOR 2.
SAVED OVER $2000 ON HOTEL ROOMS
Saved $9 on just one pack of cigs for those late night encounters w/the old lady.
Oh and the money I saved on alcohol. Immeasurable. And no I did not drink while playing or before playing. But I would be willing to say a good $300 between the old lady and myself.

All in all great little vacation. Made some money being contracted to start to build a house. Made money at the tables. Saved alot of money thanks to The casinos generosity. Got to love my woman for the first time in 2 months. And enjoyed a nice helicopter ride. payed for by one of my hands from the contract job:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

You got RFB with that meager play? I must not be understanding everything you are trying to communicate.

And you accuse others of not reading what was written?
Go back and read the OPs post again. See the parts about the coupons and the mailings?

I did notice that it was the lodging that I was amazed at.

Rooms are cheap on that part of the river at a few of the stores. Competition for your monies is still alive in that town.

I don't understand why you would sit down and only play 2 or 3 decks... what is that, 5 minutes tops?

This post shows one of the great advantages of blackjack as a part-time pursuit: no comps means no overhead. It's especially good when combined with another job, like travelling sales, or apparently this poster was doing contract work.

I got that to. Did he get free weekday rooms? Did he stay gratis with a work associate. $2000 is not much for 35 nights, $57/night. In the East rooms are way overpriced so they can comp at a high rate. I guess it is not too high for a competitive market like Vegas. Maybe his wife is a slot jockey.

Tthree,
A few of the places offer 29$ rooms, sun-thurs. Weekends obviously push up there in price. I would say he had to have pretty good play previously to get what he got. PLus the casino guide book coupons.
Food is reasonable there also...
What is there 9 stores in the area i believe...

Aint that right lol.

A red chipper in even there double deck $5 dollar games can totally get all the comps he needs in order to save the maximum amount of money and IF OU SIGN up for players cards they have no problem sending coupons for free rooms. Lets see sames club offers me t three day rooms a month one playable between the 1-15 and the other playable between 16-31. sAMS TOWN ALSO GIVES ME $200 FREE promo chips a month. Not match play or anything stragiht up cold hard cash after I have played all my promos. Ballys offers me 4 rooms or 2 suites a month. Ballys gives me $40 a month. Not to metion all the match play and money coupons from the american casino guide. However some places do not accept them. :(

But yeah in tunica you can be a red chipper but still play a very profitable game. I was a little under e.v. by about 1.10 units but hey I cant complain. Still profitted and payed for gas for the month.

For the simple reason that I seem to make well above e.v. very early within the first few decks at some point so instead of playing a chess match for another 55 minutes exhausting my brain just to end up at the low spectrum of the - standard deviation or roughly where e.v. should be. I quit as soon as I am ahead and leave all the maybe I can make a little more maybe I can make a little more. To people like you. Proving that I dont gamble that I am not a greedy man also the old lady only knows of a few sessions. If you catch my drift. Like always.

Free weekday rooms. That is correc, but most of the ones I stay at are $49 and up. Double beds since I always have the interested friend tagging along that I eventually lose on purpose.

My wife is a Conservitive christian. She barely knows I played 5 sessions. Let alone 17 in 19 days. And do you really think that I would allow my wife to play the slots. I am red chipping for godness sakes. You think I would throw all that positive e.v. away that blackjack gives me so my wife can waste it on the casinos money eater, and then ask for money to go shopping. No. I WOULD DIVORCE HER BEFORE I LET HER PLAY SLOTS.

Thats right nine stors and a couple of little rinkey dink loan shark operated u better not win too much stores.

And no if you play well like I do speading 1-6 using 3 reds $15 as the base unit. If you play for more than an hour in a casino or ramp up to the max when u know the pit is looking you got a standard room usually a double if requested. And the meals in Tunica as long as u got money on the felt all you really gotta do is ask. Nothin much there. Most comps are gotten after I lose max bet or close to max bet in front of pit and ask if their food is well priced. Comps in Tunica is like candy in the 20's... dont take much to get what you need.

Thanks. Good to know. I look for affordable ways to spread my area that I play in. Sounds like Tunica might be worth a look. Any chance of getting nicely set up without a history at these establishments.

Sam

I am happy that you and your wife had a 2nd honeymoon:cool:;)

I can also tell you are very happy also:laugh::grin:

Thanks for the info, very interesting and also most entertaining read.

I wish you the best.:)

Pretty much anything you can do in Tunica you can do in Vegas.
I spent twenty plus nites between Vegas and Laughlin and didn't pay for a single night. This year, I'm going to go from mid- Jan until around March 1st.
I've already got January covered. If I stay all 28 days of Feb, I may have to scramble a bit the last week.

I most likely would have made more if I stopped at the bank to withdraw my bankroll from safety deposit. I had to play $15 units spreading 1-6 with a weak 4k. Also a weak 39 unit profit for 17 days of play kind off sucks. Its kinda depressing really if you just look at that but you cant can you.
