what do yall think the best simple (only using +1, -1, and 0) strategy for card counting is???
i just started and am currently trying:
2,3,4,5,6 as +1 and 7,8,9 as 0 and 10,J,Q,K,A as -1

A-5 is probably the easiest, but is pretty weak. http://wizardofodds.com/blackjack/wizardcount.html

Renzey's in BJ Bluebook II describes the A-10 front count that's very easy but not *really* counting. In a good game either might get you even or a slight advantage. These may be OK for starting or for going mostly for comps.

I'd say knockout is the easiest because you don't have to estimate how many decks are left, divide the running count by that estimate, then size your bet accordingly.

check out koblackjack.com and read about the novice version. After you have that down, u'll want to read the book "knockout blackjack" to learn the prefered KO and how to size you bet accordingly

Kiss III

I use the Kiss III count described by Fred Renzey in Blackjack Bluebook II.
It gets the money. Good luck!

My vote is for KO...I've found it to be easier than hi-lo & less distracting with trying to estimate remaining deck amount...but those are the only two I've used--so factor that.

good luck
