Bet sizing with 2 hands?

I'm having a mental block on this one...

Say your at a + count where you would bet 10 units. If you start playing a second hand, are you betting 75% of the 10 units split between the 2 hands, or is it 75% of the 10 units on EACH hand (for a total bet of 15 U)?

You would bet 7.5 on each hand for a total of 15 units.

One of the benefits of playing multiple hands is that it allows you to safely get more money on the table than playing one hand. Playing two hands with a total of 75% (37.5% each) would be seriously underbetting.
