Betting Strategy needed

New to the site and it looks really nice. Should help a lot. I need some help trying to come up with a betting strategy for a tournament I play in every week at one of the casinos in the area. Here’s the set up: $1000 in chips, 12 hands , max Bet $1000, 6 tables 5 at each table, 4 rounds, top 5 scores for the night move to the finals (that is right not one from each round. So you can have all 5 coming from one table in one round. Doesn’t happen very often but it has.) Most of the time a score of Between $4800 and $6000 gets to the finals. Ties are broken by a playoff hand with the winner advancing. At the final table you play against the other 4 players. Winner gets $750. The others are paid in diminishing amounts down to 5th place of $75.
My questions is what kind of betting strategy should I adopt. Real aggressive, laid back or what.
:confused::confused:

You'd be better off asking this at the sister site: https://www.blackjacktournaments.com/

I'll mention one tip here, though -

It might not be possible, but if you can arrange to play in one of the later rounds (ideally the last one) then you'll have a good idea of what score you need to achieve to reach the final, which is a big advantage, compared to those playing in the earlier rounds.

[Although, if there are rebuys available, you might not want to delay your entry, for fear of missing out on a rebuy opportunity later on.]
