Ok so I was at a casino last night for like 45 min. I first sit down and thier is already 3 people at the table. So Its 4 of us a the dealer. And its a SD game.

Ok so on the 3rd shuffle in its just unbeleivable. ok so 4 players and dealer.

It looked something like this. Player 1) 7,5*me* Player 2) 5,4 Player 3) 2,6 Player 4) 2,6 . And the dealer a up 6. Count was +9 at this point. the 5/4 hits and gets a 9 , dont know why he didnt double but thats his money he didnt want to win. +9 , the 2,6 hits and gets a 3 +10 , then hits again and gets a 4 +11 . the other 2,6 hits and gets a 10 , +10. and I stand rather than hit because I know the count is +10. Dealer has a 6 +11 under takes his hit and gets a 3 +12 then a 10 +11.

May of been off by a couple of numbers but it was +11 and all 4 aces. At this point Im about to bet it all . And I dont know if its because the pit boss saw this or just the unlucky time but all of a sudden we get a dealer switch. I almost want to cry because a opportunity like this that was just amazing and very very rare in single deck.

But to make this even worse, like 5 deals later the opposite happened and it was like -9 right off the bat with all 4 aces gone. So I decided to keep a eye on that rare slug. But whether this casino knows its stuff or just a knowledgable dealer but they shuffled 5 more times than usual that deck. At this point I realize something might be up as the pit boss kept a good eye on the game and I bolted.

Which led me to wonder what is the biggest count you have ever gotten on a single deck ?

I've gotten +22 true count on double deck. Probably if you play single deck long enough, you'll have every low card come out, for +20 running.

Yea I only play SD but in the last 6 months a couple of times ive gotten the count to +12 with 0-1 aces left and +11 with 0-2 aces. And both near the end of the deck.

But to get a +11 out the door with no aces to come off , was something I havent seen, I guess its just one of those every 6 months things.

But ill look forword to the day where I get it 16+ in SD .

That'll teach you for playing SD with so many at the table. Absolute max.= you + 2.

I think our buddy's been smoking some good vegetation out there. That scenario would have the dealer run out the deck with an average of 54 cards dealt. One could only wish.....

I said it was shuffled and even later said right out the door. Meaning it was the first round of the deck. 3rd time It had been shuffled and dealt out.

They were only dealing 2-3 rounds before a shuffle with that many people , But that many people didnt last very long was over with the next reshuffle, Then every 10 min we would get 1-2 new guys come and blow their cash. Stayed constant with 3 players including myself and for short amounts of time we would have 4. And thats over a 50 min session.

And the only reason I stayed at all was because I had only 45-1hr to play before I needed to go home and there is only 1 other casino next to this place that wasnt going to send me farther away from home which is 10 min away. And that was going to still take 10 min so I just said w/e . And the other guys at the table were betting 20-75 and one guy blew almost 800$ in 20 min and this is on a 3$ min table. So I knew I was good to bet big w/o a shuffle since I was only going to bet 15-20 max anyways and they were looking at these donkeys big bets and stacks and ignoring me the little fish with my min bets. CMON one guy was betting 25$ on the royal match each hand. This is the guy that lost the 800$.

also could of been S. virginia. But since I like good games and dont prefer high performance computers to figure out skill level along with a not so good game with bad pen. Then ya it was probly victorian :).

um ya it was a single deck. The old dealer took the remainder of cards and the burned then put them on the table spread out and the new dealer shuffled and took over. Like any other time a new dealer takes over.

What I dont understand was why they all of a sudden wanted a dealer switch. The pit boss signaled the other dealer to come and take over.
