Bill Zender's "How to spot casino cheating".

Recently picked up a copy of this.

Although there's some interesting bits in the opening chapter, it's heavily slanted towards spotting naughties in pitch games; seconds, switching hole cards etc as well as to the risks of being on the receiving end of such in the States (particularly Nevada). Most of it's not really relevant to the UK's shoe dealt ENHC games (albeit that single deck 6-5 has recently been approved for play by the UK's Gambling Commission). UK operators can offer single deck 3-2 games, although I'm not aware that there's a single one offered in mainstream casinos across the UK.

If anyone's interested, I'll drop it in the post for $5 plus postage to the States.

PM me for payment methods.

No. The UK Gambling commission has approved single deck, hole card US style games that pay 6-5, although I'm not aware that any operators are offering these yet. I wouldn't dash to book your flight just yet.

Meaning what, they'll be prohibited from offering 3:2 payouts? Saving the casinos from themselves? (Or preventing competition that would benefit customers, perhaps?)

Operators can offer single deck games now, with the required 3-2 payout. I checked yesterday and there's nothing in the rules to say the cards have to be dealt face up or that players can't touch them (that I could see anyway). It would have to be without a hole card though. No operator does though. No prizes for guessing why.
