Hi

I have a question.

some one know the table limits of blackjack, for example, some table have limits of Minimun bet $50 max bet $500.

I want to know all the limits, and if this limits are part of the rules of the Blackjack.

thanks

Limits vary casino to casino. They can be any range the casino wants to entertain. They do not factor into things such as house edge or anything like that.

When Benny Binion had the "old" Horseshoe wasn't the max limit 10k on the table plaque but virtually unlimited if you talked to him?

The old Binions Horseshoe had no max bet. Their policy was your first bet of each shuffle is your max bet.

They go as high as post limits of $1000 to $50,000 and higher based on arrangement for super high rollers depending on the casinos ability to take the action and willingness to risk a big loss.

At the other end of the spectrum, I saw a $3-$10 table. (Not a typo, three dollar minimum bet, ten dollar maximum bet.)
The definition of risk adverse.

The highest POSTED table limits in BJ are to be found at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas $5,000 - $50,000.

Of course, with a high credit limit established, a player can get higher limits.

More interesting:

I have seen Nevada [truck stop] table limits of $1 to $50 (mid 80's)

I hear ya man! One of the jerks that told me that several times is now a PB at LV Hilton. It was almost humorous the first time he saw me there, (the gap was 10-12 years) I caught him doing a "double take" on me and then reaching for his Griffin's (or something on that order). He didn't say anything to me but I was only backcounting at the time and I didn't push my luck.

Maybe he was the PB I ran into at the Hilton. I said to him, "Where is the sign that says you can't double down after spliting." He said, "They don't believe in gambling here. If you want a fair game, go over to the Riviera across the street." True story. About two years ago.

No, this guy couldn't be that nice on a good day. Tall, slim, 50ish, coal black (dyed) hair combed back for the mobster look.

They still relish the mobster look in Vegas. A sign that they are still alive and well there, but in a laid back capacity.

There were several things that were better when the mob had control there!

How much control they still have is unknown, but their presence is undisputed. The hotel side of the business is obviously more independent than in the past. The old and the new have blended together and bright lines have disappeared.
