first, what are the odds of winning an indiviual hand in blackjack in a 6 deck game

single player against the dealer

second and MOST important

CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE ODDS OF LOSING 7 CONSECUTIVE BLACKJACK HANDS? BASED ON THE ODDS OF LOSING A SINGLE HAND.

thanks

Somebody will give you the exact number, but the odds of winning one hand is about 43%. Of losing seven in a row, about 1 in 150. If you're asking this because you're thinking about Martingale betting, my only advice is: forget it.

I believe you will win about 42% of your hands.I might be off a percent or two.
Your question is worded poorly,as you are asking about winning a specfic hand. You can tie,in which case you didn't win,but you didn't lose. The odds of losing seven straight hands and the odds of losing seven straight decisions are two very different things.

It depends somewhat on the specific rules of the game, but a good rule of thumb assuming good basic strategy is about 44% win, 8% push, 48% loss.

Blackjack hands are slightly negatively correlated, ie. if you lose a hand it's slightly more likely the count went up than down. Still a good estimate of the probability is (.48)^7 or about 1/175.
