books/dvds/software worth it?

I've been playing for a few years using BS and just recently began counting. Are all the books, dvds, and software out there really worth it? I mean do they really offer "secrets" and tips that arent already out there for free?

the books, dvd's and software offered on this site are reputable. the thing about
books, dvds, and software out there as opposed to going the free route is they can save you a lot of time and aggravation as far as searching and wading through the scam products. it would still be a good tact to seek out the free stuff even if you do purchase some reputable products.
