Can I beat this game? 8 deck 75% Pen Hit S17 Using Red 7?

I play in AC. I'm a poker player and play BJ recreationally. Please keep in mind that I already play, and will continue to play, so I'm looking for the best way to play.

My options are $15 min to $25 max tables with 8 decks, 75% pen dealer hits soft 17,

or

$50 min $3000 max 6 decks 66% Pen dealer Stands on soft 17.

I want to play Red 7. with a spread of 1-10.

So my question is, does the better pen on the 8 deck game compensate very much for the hitting soft 17 and the greater amount of decks?

What kind of a winning % can I expect from either of these games?

Thanks in advance for any help

well think of it this way
do you have a $30,000 bankroll to contribute to a game with bad penetration?

8 deck is a bad game already.. although pen is ok the hit 17 in my eyes is pretty bad

are those really your only options?

Why not play both? If you're playing in AC then you should be backcounting anyway. You might find certain dealers that give better penetration on both 6D and 8D games. Try to focus on their tables, but keep counting and moving from table to table. The 8D games are not so bad if you only play positive counts.

Also pick up Blackjack Bluebook II, it tweaks red 7 quite a bit, and has some other tidbits that'll help now and in the future.

There has to be a better game than that in AC. You can get 1.5 decks cut off a 6 deck shoe at most places, right?

I mean... like

is this something you have to do, like "HAVE" to...do?

Are you obsessed with these 6 and 8 deck abominations?

The games you mentioned are designed for  suckers or maybe delusional AP wannabees. (I hope you are neither).

Don't reward the evil casino, please.

Thanks to everyone for all the responses.

First, let me give some backround. I've been going to the same casino for years, they take very good care of me, and yes, I know that I pay for it. I've been playing BJ for yrs playing perfect basic strategy. I usually play on the $50 tables. I've decided that if I'm going to play BJ, I might as well try to win a little.

At my casino there are $50 and $100 tables which are 6 deck. I looked again on Monday, maybe they are 75% pen, I'm not good at gauging that. No hit 17.

They also have smaller games, 8 deck, hit 17, 75% pen.

For now, I don't want to play the $50 game until I get the card counting down. So I went to another place, found a $10 dollar game, 6 deck, 75% pen no hit 17. The thing is, I would never consider that game before because the table max is only $500. But after reading about the betting spreads, I think $500 will prob be my max bet for now on anyway.

So, I want to find a nice easy card counting system that I can perfect. I know it won't be "easy", but I'm playing BJ for fun, if it becomes a lot of work I won't do it. I've tried KO and Red 7. They are both simple enough for me. From the little I've red, Red 7 might be a little more accurate. Any suggestions?

eps6724, you mentioned BJ Bluebook 2. I picked it up. You said it tweaked Red 7. Are you refering to the KISS system? Is that considered to be a better system? More accurate?

Thanks again for all your help.
