Casino Rules

Well here is my last post...as I can see everything I'm saying here sounds stupid and I don't want to waste my time and yours neither.

While reading your posts, one of the major problem seems to try to be unnoticed while counting. No offense here but you americans think Vegas, Reno or whatever is the world. My tip here is TRAVEL ! There is some country around the world where governement owned casinos have no rights of asking you to leave or flat betting! The only rule I heard that was applied is not allowed in private rooms.

Most of you say, yes but the rules ? Stand on soft seventeen, 6decks, double on anything, double after splitting, 25x spread, 3 splits, 3/4 penetration.

So I guess sometimes it worth a 400$ plane ticket and you can go there for a week to play everyday if you wish.

Yeah it's called Mohegan Sun. If you add LSR and about half the dealers cutting 6/1 or better just because they don't feel like shuffling so much.

Weakest Links

True, this board reminds me more of an old style bulletin board, and the majority of the players here seem to be from the LV Cali arena, so we have to respect the fact that they have good games and will be talking more about them than anything else. The rest of the world lives in 8deckville, or skips the drive and $400 flights and plays online (where we all know the big money is, but 1deckville hates to hear it). If I lived in LV I'd still be playing felt, possibly would have missed my calling. Faced with sheety games it forces you to look harder (reminds me of Rafiki from Lion King) for ways to beating the cash out of something. Post away, or at least read away. I really hate these sad good byes! grin Sometimes your weakest relationships can teach you the most. The good old gang thinks like you do, does what you do, and seldom lead you to higher ground.

YOU may be the weakest link! ;>

Corfu government run casino

The Corfu casino located inside the Corfu Holiday Palace, is run by the Greek government. The games are four-decks with S17, DAS and 80% penetration. The limits were low(5-250Euro,10-500Euro) but heat was non-existent. The pit bosses did not give an obvious counter who was spreading 1-60 any trouble. I spread 1-20 without pressure and we both won big. It was worth spending the extra money to fly to Greece to play blackjack. Besides, the feeling to see ancient buildings like the Parthenon outweights any phoney structures that Las Vegas can copy.

Wow that is very interesting. I've never been to Europe but a chance to play BJ might push me over the edge into going. Even to Greece- I hate Greek people but that's only because I am one myself. Somebody told me Russia has some good games too.
