Casinos cheat?

Hi,

I have been playing at my local casino (playing DD pitch games, delt to 50% pen) and I noticed that after playing for 3 sessions of about 5 hours each that a good portion of the shoes had positive counts, (far more that what should be) and also I kept loosing during the positive counts when I bet more

I was wondering what are the odds that the casino took out an ace or a 10 or something to give them an additional advantage.

Also, is it considered to be rude to ask the dealer to count out the 2 decks (just count out 104 cards to make sure that there are the right amount of cards in the deck ) after the end of a shoe if you think that the decks aren't full decks?

This casino has no slot machines, they are a table game ONLY casino, (poker, baccarat, 6 deck shoe BJ, DD pitch BJ, S21, pi-gow, 3 card poker, 4 card poker, etc) I was thinking that since they have no slot machines that it means that they dont have anything generating a constand source of revenue and it gives them more incentive to cheat,

Am I being paranoid or is this really a possibility of being the case?

This is really easy. If you have 2 decks, there are only 2 of each card.

If you see more than 2 of a small card, or never see more than one of a particular ace or 10 value card, you've got cheating going on. Probably not though, with bad pen you'll often get big cards stranded behind the cut card

I would be more concerned if the same thing happened at a 75% DD game.

I could ask why you are playing this in the first place, as the shoe BJ is probably the better option unless they have great rules.
