CBJN & couting

Hi all, I'm fairly new to the world of counting. I am currently studying the Hi-Opt I method. Anyway my question is about CBJN. As a counter I can see how it is helpful to review this material if you plan on making a trip out. I just wonder if this info is really useful day to day. I mean don't the casinos look at this information too. Why wouldn't they just create great games, and odds then after the publication comes out change them? Anyone run into this?

Simple answers - 1) CBJN is good for trip, not day-to-day. 2) Switch immediately to HiLo or KO, HO1 is OBSOLETE. zg

ZenGrifter is right on both counts.

CBJN will give you a good idea of what the rules are at each casino, but the most important factor - the penetration - changes from day to day and dealer to dealer so you still need to do your own scouting.

And stop learning the Hi-Opt system before you get too far. Switch to a system that doesn't require an ace side count. It will be much easier.
