A little new to the game.. Could someone tell me if your odds change with the amount of players at the table or if your position at the table has anything to do with your odds?

The odds don't change at all. You can play with as many (or as few) other players as you want. It also doesn't matter how they play their hands. The odds on your hand will be the same.

Well at the single deck or smaller shoes the chances of card dilution is strong with more players. Wished I'd joined this forum BEFORE finding that out. Experience being a harsh teacher.

Was sitting at a single deck table a couple years ago with multiple players and simply getting killed regardless of the TC. Didn't matter if it went to plus eight. or even ten. By the time the second card came around again all the high cards had been played out.

In shoe games this deck stays "warm" longer. Vice versa it also stays cold longer...

Yes. In some games it will change your EV quite a bit. In shoe games it might not hurt you as much.

how come this is true? does it have to do with eating cards? if remember correctly, you would want a full table when the count is negative, and an empty table when the count is positive
