Cheaters who think they're APs

Now that many of my friends and acquaintances know that I count, they come up to me and talk about their own forays into the casinos. Today a fellow came up to me and described how he and employees of a casino ripped off the casino in another country using a magnet planted under a table and the switching in of gaffed dice. He talked just as if he were describing nothing more than advantaged play. He said that all he had to do was throw to a particular spot on the table. I told him I didn't cheat, and that I wouldn't take part in anything that might land me in jail. He went on talking about his escapade as if cheating was no big thing--that getting the money was all that mattered. He said they made $350,000. I never trusted this fellow even before he told me his story; now I know for sure. It's remarkable how totally without conscience some people are.

PErsonally I feel the guy is full of it.

Nobody who is able to pull that kind of money while cheating is going to tell others about it. PERIOD.

He dated it to thirty years ago when he was a young man in a foreign country.

Yes, its advantage play - illegal advantage play - but advantage play nonetheless. zg

Well, the guy I'm talking about is a known liar and cheater, so maybe your bullshit detector is working well. All I know is the guy thinks it is a glorious thing to cheat a casino and get away with it. Maybe there is some glory in the David and Goliath aspect, but what sticks out to me is the sheer stupidity of risking jail time for money. You can't tempt me with enough money for that. :fish:

Jumping from a moving car is for wussies. Get back to me when you're throwing people from moving cars.
Jumping fences is so last century. The big thing in my neighborhood is running thru fences.
