Cheating at WI Casinos

I was reading this month's CBJN and noticed a lot of warnings under some of the Wisconsin Indian Casinos. Such statements as "do not play if you suspect cheating," and "possible use of false riffle." What's up with all of this and why isn't it publicized?

The player who donated that info to Wong may have had a losing experience on that particular trip in the area, and is trying to convice himself he is being cheated and thus the reason for the lose. CBJN is not to be taken as bible when it comes to BJ conditions etc. As I have often said you must consider the source, and you do not know the source of that info, thus the credibility of it is always suspect.

Indian casinos are no better or worse than state regulated ones.

If you are an experienced AP you will already be in Predator Mode and should be able to sense, sniff out, danger well in advance.

Indian casinos are less regulated, so you are relying on the goodwill and reputation of the casino. In the early 1960's Vegas had plenty of cheating. I recall some prize drawings being rigged at the Venetian (in favor of high rollers with big losses). But think about where you have most recourse: A Vegas chain, a small rural Nevada casino, a small Caribbean island casino, an Indian casino, and an underground house game.

Offhand, a false riffle doesn't seem like a good tool to cheat players.

I believe one of BJ Infos own gave at least one of those warnings to CBJN about the false riffle. Ill let him out himself if he wants.

I thought i remember hearing something about how some of these wisconsin casinos used to have a "no backoff" policy and some players took advantage of this. In order to counter this, someone thought the casinos started removing tens from the decks. Again, this was one persons report and definitely cant be taken as fact.

CBJN will print **** like that without any verification? It accepts the undocumented reporting of a player and prints it? If so, its next to worthless.

2 days ago while actually in Predator Mode I did sense and sniff out the most serious danger of all, :yikes: and able to thwart it under the most adverse conditions, someday I will tell you all about it. However,, it was no fun at the time

Put no stock in Wong's publication. Maybe it's good for Vegas, but for everywhere else I've been in the Midwest and South it has been completely inaccurate.

Several bad games have been good per CBJN, and vice versa.
