To me Renzey's book is the blackjack bible.. but i havent read the other highly recommended books. I've been using the kiss III count for the better part of a year and I have done very well. The counting system is as good as most other level 1 counting systems.

i read the book can't really comment on KISS III other than it looked ok to me. it did seem a bit complex too me.

Of all the books on BJ I have read it is one of my favorites. Easy to read and understand. A very fine level one counting system

Yes, it is one of the easiest reads out there for any type of gambling. Renzey knows how to get his point across. The info is presented in a straight-forward manner and the ideas/concepts relate easily to one another.

If a person can't understand what the author is saying then the book is useless regardless of how well-researched or accurate the book is. Not a problem with this book.

It is recommended by the site admins as I recall.

Definitely check the recommended books section on this site for more info.

Renzy has an extremely readable writing style. Its like Ron Popeil selling you counting, while Wong's book is like Mr. Spock. He puts out easy to understand numbers... if Griffin's book reminds you of AP Math (5^6-[9] 6), Renzy says it like this: 6 to 1 underdog. Now, even though I prefer Hi-Lo to KISS, this is definately a worthy read. His condescending attitude towards stupid players is entertaining enough as it is, but his hand interaction section and straightforward yet colorful descriptions are nice bonuses. One of the few books I would recommend for beginners too, as he explains WHY hands are played incorrectly, not just how.
