There is a local casino that I have been going to for a bit, On my first day I lost a little, my 2nd day I won a little more than I lost, on my third day I lost really bad. (over 3k) and after I lost all that money I asked the pit boss if I could be comped a free dinner
this was the first time I had ever asked for comps before, and I was skeptical on if I would get em or not because I play perfect basic strategy and I use I18. but he said sure, and I got comped a king crab and steak dinner (twice, because after I ate my dinner there they comped me another one to go)
The pit boss that I talked to told me that he would put me on the "comp list" and every time I come in I will be able to get free food. I didn't come back for about a month because I was skeptical of that and I thought that they knew I was counting, but I came back, bought in for $200, played the table min ($10) for a hour and then I ordered food and they comped me a $20 dinner for free, and they gave me some match play ($10), I have been coming back semi regularly, buying in for $200, playing for a hour on table min, more if the TC is +3 or more but other than that just table min, and getting free food.
is it common for casinos to have a comp list? because they seem to be fine with just giving me free food when i'm barely playing and i'm a basic strategy player, (0.40% house advantage game)
