This is to report that the comps have gone to hell at Foxwoods, not only for table games, but for machines as well.

Playing BJ, the needle has been barely moving. Also, the full-pay VP machines that were paying 1 comps dollar per $90 coin-in are now only paying 1 per $140 coin-in. They've gotten their last coin-in from me.

Maybe this is the way they are trying to make up for their alleged lost revenue- by giving players one less reason to play there.

You would think that casinos would be going the other way during difficult times. Most of the comps casinos give out (food, rooms, etc.) cost them essentially nothing to give away, but yet still have real cash value to casino patrons. If i owned a casino, i'd be dishing out food and rooms like candy to anyone of any value to the casino. Repeat business is what most casinos rely on, and stiffing your most valuable clients just sounds like suicide.

I've noticed it starting in the month of June. Maybe it's just a summer thing, but things like this never seem to get better, only worse.

For a while it seemed the comps were better at SP21 but it's hard to judge. I just like being able to play and spread at will without any casino employee having any idea what I'm doing.

I find the comps there quite good. They seem to give me at least 1 young cocktail waitress per visit to do with what I will. Its what I call my beauty buffet. Those CT girls sure seem out to impress. No complaints thus far.

I've noticed the same thing - it seems impossible to earn reasonable comps at FW now... However the 30 piece BBQ set was pretty cool.

That's their formula for the last 6 years at bj. How much lower have you noticed AM? (i havent noticed anything on their tables but it could be the rfid chip and readers are now implemented)? or, the dude took forever to swipe your card and didnt enter your big bets for rating?

The comps for the full-pay VP (DON'T say which ones they are!) have been reduced by 50% and that I verified experimentally.

The meter on the table games looks like it's running about half as fast. Now table game ratings are a lot more subjective- it's based on what the PC sees and assumes, and furthermore I have no idea what my average bet for any session or sessions- I've got more important stuff to keep track of. So I could be wrong.
