Comps idea for Craps

Hey everyone.

So, after reading a book on craps and dice control, I found a cool system in craps for getting alot of rewards credits.

Right now, me and my friend go to Casino Windsor and play $10 Blackjack with a 1-6 spread, and we sometimes play craps for maybe $10 on the pass line and 3x that in odds.

Now, this earns rewards comps very, very slowly. We go all the time, and we just could not earn enough to make it to the next level. (Harrahs style comps)

Then the New Years came, and our tier score were reset to 0! Yeahhh!!!!

So here is my plan.

We both have about $10k that we use to invest, but are not comfortable to really use this at the tables because of the risk.

So, in an attempt to just earn comps and move up to the next levels and earn free stuff, I am thinking that we can both go to the table but act as if we did not come together.

We both buyin for a large amount, say 8-10k, and then I would bet $100+ on the pass line, and he would bet the same amount on the dont pass line. The only time we would lose is if a 12 was rolled on the comeout roll, but that happens somewhere near 1 out of 36 times so im not too worried.

We would of course use a combined bankroll of both our $10k's and then split any losses we got when the 12 was rolled.

No, it's a terrible plan. You are afraid to bet your money on blackjack where you have the advantage, but you'll put it on this bet where you have a 1.39% disadvantage? You'll be crying in your beer when the boxcars come out.

Table game players don't get comped squat anyway, compared to machine players. There are a few VP and slot promotions that you can manipulate for comp and cashback advantages and they have a lower house edge on the game itself, so I'd suggest you research that approach if you want to earn profit that way.

For a comp hustling plan, this sounds great. Put out a $100 bet when the boss rates you, drop back to $5-10 or nothing when he leaves. For an AP play, it's terrible. But, it doesn't sound like you want an AP play.

It's tough to have two players betting opposite ends each going from $100 to $5 based on if the pitboss is watching you.In craps,the box boy is always watching everything.
Could the person making the don't pass bet also put a small wager on the any craps bet?Its been quite awhile now since I comp hustled o craps but when I did,my friend had a three player system that was similar but lost hardly any money(made no money).
While 1 out of 36 doesn't sound like much,an afternoons worth of play will be at least 150 rolls,which means you can expect to lose $400 an afternoon.
You'd be better off waiting for a 5X rewards points day and pooling your money together for a Diamond in a Day run on a slot machine.

If you can get your control skill up, craps can become a positive cash flow game for you. (Just a friendly plug).

That would pretty interesting if the multi-player Doey-Don't gets you that much comps. The play is still a tough proposition to get over, considering that the strength of the Pass Line bet is winning on a come-out 7 (and 11). And that is being negated by your partner's Don't Pass bet. So, if your line bets are big enough and the boys don't discredit you for making this combo bet, comps could be good.

Don't be too "not worried" about the come-out 12...it happens enough. Had a guy roll it 3 times on one come-out roll the other day.
