Two offers recently received for recreational non-AP minimum flat bettor.
*$10 min. player - Western Pa Player

(1) Borgata - Free Room Nov 1st thru Dec. 27, 2007. One free room per week (Sun-Thurs) I always go with a junket and stay at Trump Plaza. I have never stayed at Borgata and have only flat bet @ $10/15 min tables.

(2) Seneca Niagara - $10 flat bettor - Two Free nights every week for the month of November. They also offer a $55 special rate for Sunday with Monday and Tuesday comp'd. They also include in offer four free rooms per week for entire week. They comp me for two days, and then I pay for one day, and they comp me an additional two days each week if I elect to stay for week.

Not a bad deal for a table min. player.

In the past at the Borgata I backcount and never enter game until count is positive and immediately leave when deck turns neg. At Seneca I start 90% of my play when shoe starts and immediately leave when shoe turns neg.

Hey Jim,

How often do you play Seneca Niagara? I've gone there off and on the last few years, and they only room offer was one to my WIFE who plays slots, and that was for one night Sun-thurs back in June!

Seneca Visits

Three, maybe four times a year. I played twice this year, and have received these two night offers every month this year. Approximately three months ago I started receiving 4 comp nights per week. If I want to stay for a week ( 5 nights) I would have to pay for one night. The playing credits more than cover the cost of the one day they charge between two night stays. Now they just started sending a Sat night charge of $55 and Sun/Mon comp.

They must be basing the room comps somewhat on where you live. I'm about 45 mins away and was going about monthly through June (was in Ontario casinos more then) , but backed of a bit over the summer and no room comps for me! Unless I'm doing something wrong!

dont hestitate to throw your card out at table min games for sure. I once played Texas Holdem Bonus (just to get buzzed and stay even basically) for 12 hours one day and 4 hours the next day at a $5 minimum table. It worked out to 4 free buffets at one of the nicer strip casinos and a free 3 night stay at one of the "average" strip casinos. plus i was bombed, and didnt "lose" in the total session :cool2:

you always go with a junket? a milk based loose pudding type dessert?

i find that i get free hotel offers also, and i also flat bet $10, they know that you will most likely lose $100s if you are staying overnight, thus why a free hotel is offered before $20 cashback.. back when i flat bet $3, and played 10 hours a week, i would get a free hotel, $20 cash, 2 free buffets, and stuff like that, but the craziest comp i have ever got was betting that same $3, i got $60 cashback, free hotel, 2 free buffets, and it took less than 20 hours of play to earn that.. the crazy thing is, i was playing at a loss rate of $.80/hr

I'm not a high roller, but we play occasionally at Seneca Niagara. They have yet to offer me a room, but my wife plays those damned slots and just got offered up to 4 nights any Mon-Thur in Dec with a $75 weekend rate.

I get that they'll get a bigger % out of slots, but I buy in for several hundred on the $15 tables, and maybe get $10 towards food/beverage, She gets the points and room offers!

I just don't get how they rate BJ players.

Slots rate much higher than Bj

Slot players will always rate higher than table game players. The slots are where they make their real money. Look at how much space is dedicated to each. You could go on and on about the money slots makes over table games. Someone here I'm sure can offer some numbers.

$100 tossed into a slot machine every so often will return to you tenfold in comps if you play it right.

Okay. Hows this,go back and read any of the dozens if not hundreds of posts I've written on comp-counting,or try googling comp counting,or better yet buy a book on the subject. Read anything and everything by Max Rubin or Jean Scott.

To be honest shad, I'm reluctant to throw $100 into any slot without having a damn good idea of what I'm going to get out of it. At most of the local places I'm used to $1000 in coin-in isn't really going to to anything for me in terms of comps or bounceback cash. But I'm probably doing something wrong.

Shadroch, this is a discussion board and when you make an extravagant statement like that you should be able to back up what you said or else it shouldn't be on this discussion board. Not giving any explanation does not give us a chance to evaluate your claim.
I don't think anybody on this message board can support or understand your extravagant claim.
I don't think anybody doing what you say we should do i.e.read your past postings, googling or buying a book will be able to find what you claim you know.

I have posted quite extensively on how to max ones comps. There is no secret to it. I just don't see any point it reposting the same thing over and over.
Here is a ten cent summary.
1) Join every casinos players club you can.
2) casinos give much better comps for slot players than table gamers.
3) casinos try to operate at full capacity so they invite slot players to come stay during slow periods
4) once you are on the casinos list of people who have accepted free nights, you get many more offers and it is almost impossible to get off them.
5) and most importantly- most casinos offer bonus days regularly. You can earn 2X,3X even 10X the normal comps those days. It can actually make it a positve EV in some cases.

One example, not exactly typical, but by no means unique.
The Ramada Express in Laughlin got sold to the Tropicana group.New members(ie Everyone) who played $500 thru the slots in 48 hours got $25 in cash,$50 in food comps and a certificate for two free nights on a future trip.
I found a video three card poker machine that paid the full 6-4 on flushs and straights. It took me less than a half hour to fulfill the minimum to get that, and lucked out with a three of a kind to boot.Since that one visit,I must have recieved thirty offers for free rooms and cash. I just gave away coupons for ten free nights they sent me for friends and family members,I have $40 in free slot play the next five visits and a free dinner for two(including champaigne) anytime in December for my birthday.
Got the idea?

Now you are talking, Shadroch.
Others in the States would be more qualified to comment on this than I.
