Comps

Just curious what the different casinos in reno send out as comps for blackjack players . Like a Free ace coupon or match play coupon or free 10$ coupon on table games type things. What casinos give more for frequent players and give me more for less frequent players . Anyone who lives in reno this would be very nice to know .

John Ascuaga's Nugget gives generous player's card comps, and will send you coupons for free cash or chips from time to time. The Grand Sierra is pretty good with the player's card, too. Harrah's will send you cash back and free room offers. Circus-Circus used to send out decent mailers with free slot play coupons, but they seem to be drying up, at least for me. (Maybe because the games are lousy and I never play there.) Thunder Valley, over the hill, will send you a bunch of match play coupons, but each one is only good for a short interval, and they're a pain in the ass because you have to take them to the booth to be validated. Offers are probably better if you play games other than blackjack.
