Yes, this is not good news.
HR 4411, the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006

The vote is scheduled for TOMORROW Tuesday July 11th.
I recommend everyone interested contact your congressman and tell them to pursue regulation and taxation of the online gambling industry rather than an ineffectual prohibition instead.
