Could a casino save money with low-betting card counter?

I have been trying to backcount some shoes everytime I go to the casino and I have been lucky a few times. I am afraid I might be quite obvious in doing this i think but sofar I haven't gotten any heat. I don't have a big bankroll so even if the count is good I can't bet that much over minimum bet. this means that most of the time there are alot of people betting alot more than me.

I have been thinking about it and come to the conclusion that I might actually be doing the casino a favour.
Lets' say we have a high better who have been playing through the first half of the shoe, losing alot of money since there were mostly low cards in the first half. Now the count is really high and he will have the advantage and a good chance to win some or most of it back.
Now a backcounting lowbetter sits down. The lowbetter will get a part of the high cards and thereby lowering the chances for the high roller to get back his money.

This is most likly only true if the high roller plays by BS or the casino will probably have the advantage at any count. the difference between the highroller and the lowbetters bets is probabaly also important.
I haven't done any math on this, just though it was an interesting thought and would like to have someone elses thoughts on this. flame if necessary;)
Would be cool if when I one day get heat from the pitbosses for backcounting can tell them to leave me alone since i am really doing them a favour.:D

Interesting thought. What you are saying is probably true mathmatically but it would be such a small percentage it doesnt matter.

It would not surprise me. I know the Majestic Star (Bartens's joint) in Indiana uses Shills talking and cutting cards during game. I know because I got into an argument with one when he kept playing black without any knowledge of BS, tipping dealer black (tip money going into tray) and when dealer thru him the cut card I freaked. They don't plug at this casino and the dealer actually showed him where he wanted the cut card.

I don't really belive it will work that well in reality either. It might be enough to confuse casino personel enough for you to take your money and leave.
