That feature is only good for hints. You can use it any way you want.
It appears to be one deck and the shuffle comes at appx 3/4 deck. Not bad pen. You can use it for counting practice as you said, but you have to be error free and keep up yourself. If you are just starting out, there are much better places and programs. If you are learning, and are real slow, it's nice that it leaves the cards (hands) on screen until you click for the next bet or deal. At a real casino that is not an option!

Hey Blue, It's been several days...I hope you found some of the links helpful. How is the practice going? If you check out the thread about free resources, ZG's first post has a lot more links. Some are old and dead, but most are still good.
