counting tags

recently saw a level 2 counting system with unusual tags that got me wondering. 2-7 = +1, X = -1, A = -2. Oviously the ace is overvalued, and the small cards are all counted the same as in a level 1. But since a good portion of the counters edge comes from more blackjacks received at higher counts, it got me wondering just what the betting corelation would be with this system?

yes indeed. I was wondering just how bad. thank you.
Some notable systems like that and the earliest Revere advanced counts over-weighted the Ace. Eventually - early80s - thanks to Snyder, among others, UNDERVALUING the Ace ala ZEN proved to be more viable. zg
