Couple questions.

I'm starting to get the hang of KO preferred (yeah yeah I know it's "easy", but I'm a sped and it takes a lot of repetition for me to get things down pat to feel comfortable), but I have a question about which basic strategy I should incorporate with this....the one in "Knock-Out Blackjack" which is the generic basic strategy they recommend which they say is "good enough", or should I substitute it for the basic strategy that is best for 6 decks (which is what I am going to be using)??? I don't think it would make a huge difference but I'm trying to get as close to "perfect" as possible. One more question...my casino just switched to the auto shuffle (not continuous) instead of hand shuffling....so the casino decided to only cut off one deck (approx. 83.333% pen) instead of 2 decks because of the switch. I'm actually thinking that the casinos are thinking that the shufflers are a disadvantage to us...so they're using better pennetration to make up for it......oorrrrrrrrrrr are these shufflers really a negative to counters/players in general....I didnt think they would affect anything, but I'de like to hear what people think about this situation and how much of an advantage this makes.

It might well be a "time" thing

The dealer's tell me it takes the auto-shuffler around 8 minutes to finish mixing a six deck pack. So I'm guessing the deeper pen is to make sure they don't finish one shoe before the other setup is ready.

Use the basic strategy tables presented in "Blackjack Attack 3 ed.". As far as I know they are 100% accurate.

If you're really just playing 6D, then I'd go with an optimized 6D strategy.

If you know you're going to be playing doubledeck (or especially single deck) then dedicate some time to practice beforehand on the changes.

Automatic shufflers aren't a disadvantage to the player at all in my mind (except maybe for shuffle-trackers)

They make the playing faster and as long as their not CSMs i dont see any reason not to like them.

If you don't have an advantage, playing faster simply means you'll lose faster.
