I've just started counting at the green-chip level at Foxwoods. I'm using the KO count with a 1-12 spread, with limited betting cover (jumping by no more than 1-4-8-12 during a spiking count). All 8D shoe games. Lots of wonging out, a little backcounting and wonging in. I'm also ratholing a green chip or two per hour.
Do I need to worry about cover plays at this stage? I've read Ian Anderson's book where he discusses making intentional playing errors that aren't very costly, and are correct during high counts when your large bets are out. Things like always standing on 16 vs 10, surrendering excessively (16 vs 8 - 15 vs 9,A - 14 vs T,A), doubling on 11 vs A and 10 vs T/A.
Is there any advantage to incorporating some playing errors that will cost me 10% of my expected return when my min bet is $25? I've heard that Foxwoods doesn't seem to care much about advantage play. It seems that all of the backing off/comp freezes I've read about there stem from excessive cumulative wins.
Getting cut off from comps would suck. On the other hand, I don't want to give away EV for cover that they won't even notice.
