Go with the math, full odds, that means pass and place 6-8, or play the dark side.

Check out Wong's "Casino Tournament Strategy". I didn't read the craps section, but the section on BJ tournaments is good. I would imagine that craps tournaments, even more so than BJ tournaments, are completely about the betting. This book should prove to be a tremendous help if you're not already a proficient casino tournament player. Even if you are, I'm sure you'll pick up enough from this book for it to pay for itself quickly.
