Cutting out a small card

I've seen it discussed on here about card steering and cutting out a small card if you can, but my question is this.

In double deck, I have no problem as the dealer usually holds the deck sideways, same for single deck.

But in 6 deck they place the back of the cards toward me so there will be no way to see what card I am cutting out. Is there a way to suggest that they move it so I can see what I'm cutting? And also they normally hold the cards together so tight you can't squeeze much info out anyway.

Offhand,I'd say that cutting a small card out of a six deck shoe would be
1/6th as powerful as the same move in a single deck. Not sure it would amount to much,at all.

i liked Automonkey's (i think who it was) point on this. which was hey if you know a it's a hi or low card that gets cut out of play add it your count from the get go. every little bit helps.
