DD Burn Cards

Hi, planning a trip in few weeks, my first in over ten years. I used to play single deck downtown but from reading the forums I understand the lucrative opportunities that existed in the 80's and 90's are only fond memories.

I have a few questions hopefully some of the members can answer:

1. How many cards do they "burn"? Back in the day I recall it was 3 on a dd and wondering when i practice at home if that changed.

2. What type of penetration can i expect downtown? If 6 players are at a table, can I expect 3 deals which from practicing at home seems to use 75 to 80 cards on average.

Want to say thanks for the valuable info already obtained. It will same some shoe leather on a 24 hour junket!

My local casino (not in LV) has DD BJ. The penetration is about 75%. If there are 6 players at the table, we will get 4 deals 100% of the time. If there are 7 players at the table, we will get 4 deals 90% of the time and 3 deals 10% of the time.

Flash posted a link to the wizard of vegas that broke down the rules, limits, number of decks and pen for vegas. I saw it today so I think he posted it today. Short of 1st hand intel it would be good to check out. It was in the thread $5 blackjack on/near the strip.
